Día de los Muertos
Journey with the
Descendants & Ancestors
Monday, Nov. 2nd, 9pm ET/6pm PT (1 hr)
Online via Zoom
Día de los Muertos is a time to remember and honor the beloved dead, to bring them close, celebrate their lives, and acknowledge the ways they continue to live through us.
It is also a time to remember that we are part of a much larger story.
We have ancestors behind us, whose lives and choices have shaped the world we inherited.
And we have descendants ahead of us, who will inherit the world we are creating now..

In this intimate, experiential ritual, we’ll journey across the generations, opening ourselves to the wisdom, messages, and gifts of those who came before us, and then turning toward those who will come after us to listen for what they have to say about the lives we are living and the world we are creating.
📅 Monday, November 2nd, 2026
🕐 9pm–10pm ET / 6pm–7pm PT
📍 Online via Zoom (link will be sent to your email)
No previous experience with magic or ritual is necessary.
This workshop is for anyone who feels at a crossroads, is entering a new chapter, or wants to deepen their relationship with their ancestors and their own capacity for change.
A Deeper Relationship
Through ritual, guided meditation, trance, and ancestral connection, you’ll be invited into a deeper relationship with your lineage and with the generations on either side of you.
What do your ancestors want you to know?
What wisdom or gifts are you ready to reclaim?
What are you ready to release?
And what do your descendants need from you?
The Intention
From this place, we’ll turn toward the threshold of a new cycle and consider what we want to carry forward, what we want to change, and what we want to create in the year ahead.
This is an opportunity to step outside the narrow frame of our individual lives and experience ourselves as part of an ongoing lineage.
The intention is not simply to have a meaningful spiritual experience, but to return to our lives with a different perspective on what is possible and what is ours to create.
What to Bring
Please bring photographs, letters, or meaningful objects connected to beloved dead people or ancestors to build your altar.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring something to eat afterward.
We’ll close the ritual with food, conversation, and time to integrate the experience together.

Hi! I 'm Maritza.
I'm a bruja, spiritual teacher, and founder of Bruja School. Raised in Chile in a family of witches, I was initiated into brujería by my grandmother. My spiritual practice is deeply rooted in my relationship with Spirit, Nature, her ancestors, and the Mystery of Life Herself.
I have practiced magic, ritual, and divination for more than four decades, drawing on my South American and Mediterranean family lineage as well as decades of independent study and practice. I am the creator of the Liberation Magic Method, a contemporary approach to magic and spiritual practice.
I am also an experienced tarot reader and teacher, having taught as part of a 150-hour, ten-month tarot certification at The Scarlet Sage in San Francisco. Alongside my spiritual work, I am an organizational consultant and leadership coach who has spent more than three decades helping leaders and organizations navigate change and transformation.
My work brings together a lifelong relationship with magic and a deep engagement with the practical realities of work, relationships, communities, and everyday life. I bring warmth, honesty, irreverence, and humor to my teaching and ritual work.
